Man injured in motorcycle crash

BOARDMAN – A Walla Walla man was transported to a trauma center after a two-vehicle crash near the Main Street exit in Boardman on Wednesday night.

According to Oregon State Police (OSP) Lonnie Wayne White, 48, of Walla Walla was driving a motorcycle westbound at a high rate of speed through a construction zone when it rear ended an Acura TLX at mile marker 165. He was transported to a local hospital before being transported to a trauma center.

White was cited by OSP for following too closely. The driver of the Acura, a 51-year-old man from Spokane, was reported to have not required medical treatment.
