Man found guilty of UUMV to spend 364 days in Grant County Jail

CANYON CITY – A man will spend nearly a year in jail for unlawful use of a motor vehicle and false swearing related to the titling of a vehicle.

Grant County Circuit Court documents show that Mark Dennis Reasoner, 58, was found guilty by a jury for the crimes of Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle and False Swearing Relating to Titling of Vehicles, committed in November of 2024.

Reasoner was sentenced to 364 days in the Grant County Jail, placed on Bench Probation for 24 months with Special Conditions, and ordered to pay a compensatory fine of $2,500. The guilty verdict was entered on December 31^st, 2025.
