WALLA WALLA — A man in crisis, waving what appeared to be a gun, temporarily caused an incident Tuesday morning at Walla Walla Fire Station No. 1, 200 South 12th Avenue.
The Walla Walla Police Department and Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office immediately responded to the fire station at 8:14 a.m.
WWPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Nick Loudermilk said the man was not aggressive with anyone.
“The man wanted to show the firefighters what he found,” Loudermilk said.
Turns out the gun was a toy. No arrests were made, and no injuries were reported.
