Man convicted on theft charge

CANYON CITY – A man was convicted in Grant County Circuit Court on a theft charge recently, according to court documents. Michael Shane Griffin, 47, was charged and convicted on one count of Theft in the First Degree, committed around January 4th of this year.
Griffin was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail, with credit for time served. The court proceeding was held June 30th.
