Man convicted of stealing a vehicle at gunpoint in Columbia Park

KENNEWICK – A jury has found Jokane Riklon, 29, guilty of first-degree robbery with an aggravating circumstance allegation – impact on others, after stealing a vehicle at gunpoint last year in Columbia Park. The verdict was handed down in Benton County Superior Court.
Benton County Prosecutor Eric Eisinger said that on Jan. 7, 2023, Riklon approached a vehicle occupied by an adult male and his two minor children near the Playground of Dreams, then stole the man’s vehicle at gunpoint.
The victim and two children were able to exit the vehicle unharmed before Riklon fled the area. The vehicle and Riklon were later found in Auburn.
Riklon is tentatively scheduled to be sentenced on Thursday.
