Man arrested for causing disturbance on train south of Finley

FINLEY โ€“ A man was arrested Monday after reportedly causing a disturbance on an Amtrak train in Benton County, Washington.

The train stopped south of Finley while waiting for deputies to arrive. The Benton County Sheriffโ€™s Office said the man was contacted and detained due to his manic and volatile behavior aboard the train.

The man was found to be in possession of a substantial number of narcotics and was determined to be under the influence as well.

After being checked out by medics and cleared at a Tri-Cities hospital, the individual was booked into the Benton County Jail on charges of delaying/obstructing a train and possession of narcotics. The jail roster lists Gustavo Gilbert Jr., 28, as the person who was arrested. BCSO has not released where he is from.
