Man arrested for assault, menacing and strangulation

CANYON CITY – Few details have been released regarding an incident yesterday morning. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to what was listed as a domestic incident at a location on Patterson Drive in Canyon City on Tuesday. As a result, Jared J Baker, 27, of Canyon City was arrested on charges including Felony Assault IV, Strangulation and Menacing. Nothing further was released regarding the incident.
