John Day, Hines and Prairie City, OR.(Released by the US Forest Service)-In observance of the Independence Day holiday, all Malheur National Forest offices will be closed Monday, July 4, 2022, including virtual services.
Offices will reopen at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 5th.
Please plan accordingly for your forest product needs.
Deputy Fire Staff Eric Miller would like to remind visitors to recreate responsibly this weekend, make sure all campfires are confined in a fire ring and extinguished before leaving camp.
Remember- Fireworks are not allowed on any National Forest.
