Malheur National Forest celebrates National Bat Week

JOHN DAY – The Malheur National Forest wants to shine a light on some very important winged friends to the environment—bats. It’s National Bat Week, October 24^th through the 31^st, and the agency recently posted to social media asking folks to, “Take a moment today to appreciate all of the ecosystem services bats provide us every day.”
