Malheur Nation Forest offices closed on Monday

John Day, Prairie City and Hines (Released by the Malheur National Forest office)-All Malheur National Forest offices will be closed Monday, February 19, 2024, in observance of the Presidents’ Day holiday.  Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

Many national forests will waive fees at day-use recreation sites and amenities on Monday, February 19th to celebrate Presidents’ Day. The Forest Service participates in fee-free days with other federal agencies to encourage Americans to visit their public lands.
