MALHEUR COUNTY – This Wednesday, July 15, the Malheur County Court will hold a public hearing regarding a proposed 3% rate increase for Ontario Sanitary Service/Waste Connections for areas serviced in Malheur County, but outside the City of Ontario.
The meeting will take place at 9:30 a.m. at the Malheur County Courthouse, 251 B-Street. Residents may attend in person or online. For more details, see the full public notice from Malheur County:
“The Malheur County Court will hold a public hearing to consider a rate increase proposal of 3% for Ontario Sanitary Service/Waste Connections, within the boundaries of Malheur County not to include the City of Ontario, on July 15, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. (Mountain Time) at the Malheur County Courthouse, 251 B Street W, Room 106, Vale, Oregon 97918. Oral comments may be given during the public hearing. Written comments will be received up to and including the date and time of the hearing and may be emailed to kim.ross@malheurco.org.
