Malheur County Sheriff’s Office hosts 12th Annual Citizen’s Academy

MALHEUR COUNTY – Today begins the first day of the 12th Annual Citizen’s Academy with the Malheur County Sheriff’s Office. Enrolled applicants get the opportunity to meet members of the Sheriff’s Office team and learn about the services provided and divisions within the MCSO.
The Sheriff’s Department says this is an ideal opportunity for anyone interested in the various duties and responsibilities of the Malheur County Sheriff’s Office. The academy includes classroom learning, as well as an optional day at the shooting range with deputies as well as dinner on the last day.
