MALHEUR COUNTY — On Tuesday, November 26th, the Malheur County Search and Rescue team were activated in the afternoon hours to the report of stranded hunters in need of assistance in the remote countryside.
Malheur County SAR reports that several volunteer members responded, and ultimately it was 4 members in side-by-sides who went out to the rescue. The members were able to get the stuck vehicle free and send the hunters on their way.
SAR reports, “The hunters had gotten stuck around 10 AM, SAR was notified just after 12PM.”
