LSN fiber bundle destroyed near La Grande. 800+ members impacted.

LA GRANDE — Oregon Wireless is reporting that the LSNetwork fiber bundle along Hwy 82, roughly 5 miles north of La Grande, has been destroyed. The damage was reportedly caused by the bundle being pulled off the poles by a passing train at 10:15 PDT. Homes, business, and even school districts in Imbler and Elgin are being impacted. In total, around 800 members are currently offline. An estimated time for restoration was not provided.
