LONG CREEK – Long Creek School Superintendent Larry Glaze was on KJDY’s Coffee Time Tuesday and was excited to share some positive test scores. Oregon schools are tested every spring, and Mr. Glaze said the results are in from last year:
“We had 100% participation by all of our students in the test process. When I had come to Long Creek last year, our participation in the test process was not good. We were below what the state expected, so I was real happy that we were able to get 100% of our kids tested.”
Superintendent Glaze also mentioned that 83% of Long Creek students at the 11th Grade level are proficient in Science, 100% were proficient in Language Arts, and 50% in Mathematics—all well above the state average.
