LONG CREEK – Long Creek students are the loggers, but the volleyball and football players will be putting on Tiger uniforms this fall as the school joins up with Monument/Dayville to create a 3-school co-op. Long Creek Schools Superintendent Larry Glaze was on KJDY’s Coffee Time informing listeners of the news:
“The sports co-op has now been approved by all three school boards—Dayville, Monument and Long Creek.
It’s officially approved. There are two additional steps that we’re going through. One is, we’re have to do the paperwork with the OSAA. The third part is, we’re putting together an agreement between the three districts for how all of this is going to work.”
The Monument/Dayville/Long Creek Tigers will be joining together for fall sports beginning in 2023.
