BAKER CITY – Thanks to funding from the Baker County Local Community Advisory Council free locking medicine storage containers are available through the Baker County Safe Communities Coalition (BCSCC).

According to BCSCC “Locking medicine storage could be the single most effective deterrent to accidental poisonings, medicine theft, suicide and misuse that can lead to prescription drug addiction.

Arrangements are being made for those who are interested in a Lockbox Giveaway and will be announced soon.

Until that time, those interested in a free Lockbox can private message the BCSCC Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/bakercountysafecommunitiescoalition) or contact Haley Hueckman at hhueckman@ndninc.org
