Local students take champion at state rodeo finals

HARNEY COUNTY-Cody Siegner and Jack Rose, both Crane student athletes, we crowned state champions as team ropers. Both will be sophomores in the fall. Siegner was also second in the tie down roping event.
Tommy jack Rose, another Crane student athlete, won the all-around award. He will also be a sophomore in the fall.
Ty Taylor (Crane) teamed up with Burns Hilander Adam White to take third place in the team roping. Taylor also picked up a second-place showing in the steer wrestling.
In July, all the names shown here will be in Gillette, Wyoming for the high school national finals rodeo.
