EASTERN OREGON – Across Oregon, a wave of determined high school teams is emerging, fueled by the fervor to etch their names into the annals of championship glory.
Late October and November means its playoff time for fall sports, and the following local teams are pursuing their dreams of a state title this week.

4A ROUND ONE – SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4
No. 8 Baker hosts No. 9 Junction City.
No. 10 Pendleton visits Mazama in Klamath Falls.
3A ROUND ONE – SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4
No. 16 Burns travels the Portland area to take on No. 1 Banks.
No. 7 Vale hosts No. 10 Santiam Christian.
2A ROUND ONE – SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4
Top-seeded Weston-McEwen/Griswold plays host to No. 16 Knappa
No. 5 Heppner plays at home against No. 12 Bandon/Pacific
No. 13 Stanfield visits the Salem-area to play No. 4 Regis.

No. 2 Crane has a bye and will host the winner of Cove/Enterprise on November 10.
