Lightning ruled out as cause of 2 new fire starts

There are 2 new fire starts in Murderers Creek off of Blue Ridge. The Blue Spring fire is 1/4 acre, fully lined and staffed with one engine. The other incident, Ridge Top, is 4 acres, boxed in with retardant and is receiving water from helicopter bucket drops. The Alaska Strike Team, which has been working the Initial Attack division of the Crockets Knob fire, was ordered to assist with Ridge Top. The cause of these new fires is undetermined at this time, but lightning has been ruled out.
