LA GRANDE – La Grande Assistant Superintendent Scott Carpenter recently sat down with Elkhorn Media Group for a quick interview on the latest La Grande School Board meeting. The board had quite the itinerary, with key updates on School Board Appreciation Month, improved attendance rates, the future of federal funding, construction work from over the winter break, funding for the districts’ K-5 PE teachers, and some anecdotes from La Grande FFA members that traveled to nationals, among many other topics.
