LGPD Officers Garinger and Kreamier graduate from Oregon Basic Police Academy

LA GRANDE – On Friday, June 19, the La Grande Police Department (LGPD) excitedly announced that two of its officers, Brad Garinger (left) and James Kreamier (right), had officially graduated from the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) academy in Salem, following completion of the 16-week program in Salem. 

Reflecting on this major milestone for the two, the LGPD wrote:

“This is a significant milestone as they begin their law enforcement careers, and we are extremely proud of their achievement. Throughout the academy, Officers Garinger and Kreamier represented the La Grande Police Department with professionalism and dedication.

Graduation from the academy marks an important step in their overall seven-month training program, which includes additional field training and evaluation before they are fully certified officers.”
