LA GRANDE – Officers on patrol might be the most visible members of the police force, but they’re far from the only ones. It takes the dedication and expertise of administrators and office specialists to keep law enforcement running smoothly. At the end of October, the La Grande Police Department honored the retirement of Administrative Assistant Carla Greenough and Secretary/Records Specialist Lisa Reddington.

Greenough served with the LGDP for 20 years and Reddington 26 years. In a recent social media post announcing their retirement, the LGPD stated:

“Carla and Lisa’s service to LGPD and our community has been notable and admirable.  They made a positive impact and what they have accomplished mattered!

Congratulations on your retirement… Job well done… we’ll miss you… and thank you for your service!”
