LA GRANDE – The La Grande Police Department recently gave a shoutout to two of its newest members. Kelly Winebrenner and Maighan Lizama-Caldwell recently graduated from the Oregon Department of Safety Standards and Training’s Basic Telecommunications Academy in Salem. They officially graduated on December 19, 2025, and were two of only 23 graduates statewide during the latest course.
In a social media announcement, the LGPD wrote:
“This is a wonderful achievement as they begin their careers as dispatchers for the LGPD. We’re incredibly proud of this amazing milestone. Way to go, Kelly and Maighan!”
