Level 1 Evacuation Notice Canceled for Burnt Creek Fire Near Enterprise

ENTERPRISE– The Wallowa County Sheriff’s Office has officially canceled the Level 1 (“Be Ready”) Evacuation Notice for areas affected by the Burnt Creek Fire near Enterprise. With the notice lifted, local residents may safely resume normal activities.

While emergency officials expressed gratitude to firefighters, law enforcement, emergency responders, and the community for their cooperation and support during the incident, they advise the public to remain vigilant. Fire season is not over, and conditions can change rapidly.
