Latino Partnership Program awards $55K to Malheur Co. organizations

MALHEUR COUNTY — Around $55,000 in grant funding will be awarded between four organizations within the Latino community in Malheur County.
The Latino Partnership Program of Oregon Community Foundation recently announced a total of $897,000 dedicated to supporting Latino-led and Latino-serving nonprofits across Oregon.
In Vale, the Malheur Education Service District will receive $15,000 for the Spanish Cohort Child Care Business Accelerator.
Three organizations in Ontario will be receiving funding. Ontario School District 8C is slated to receive $15,000 for their Latinos in Action program. $10,000 will be going to Four Rivers Welcome Center CO for support of the Latino community, and the Mexican American Citizens League will receive $15,000 for general operating support.
