Dear Parents, Staff and Community,
I am writing to introduce myself as the interim superintendent for Dayville School District. With 49 years of experience in teaching, coaching and educational leadership, I am honored to step into this role during this transitional period. My commitment is to ensure stability and continuity within the district while we search for a permanent superintendent.
Background and Experience
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving in various capacities within the educational system, including roles as a teacher, principal, and ultimately as a school superintendent. My extensive experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that schools face today. I have successfully led initiatives focused on improving student outcomes, enhancing teacher professional development, and fostering community engagement.
Vision for the District
As I take on this interim role, my primary focus will be on maintaining an environment conducive to learning and growth. I believe that collaboration among staff, students, parents, and community members is essential for our success. Together, we can address any immediate concerns while laying the groundwork for long-term improvements.
I plan to prioritize open communication and transparency throughout my tenure. Regular updates will be provided to keep all stakeholders informed about ongoing initiatives and developments within the district. Additionally, I welcome feedback from all members of our school community as we navigate this transition together.
Commitment to Students and Staff
The well-being of our students remains at the forefront of my priorities. I am dedicated to ensuring that every student receives a high-quality education in a safe and supportive environment. Equally important is supporting our educators; they are vital in shaping our students’ futures. I intend to work closely with faculty to identify their needs and provide necessary resources.
Conclusion
I am excited about the opportunity to serve Dayville School District during this critical time. Together, we can build upon our strengths and address any challenges head-on. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to discuss how we can work together effectively.
Thank you for your trust in me during this interim period. I look forward to meeting each of you soon.
