Lake Creek Youth Camp & Thadd’s Place in Grant County awarded funding

GRANT COUNTY – The Oregon Community Foundation will be awarding a total of $18,500 between two Grant County community organizations. The organization recently announced their 2024 Fall Cycle of Community Grants.

The $10,000 community grant for Lake Creek Youth Recreational Camp, Inc will aid in providing upgraded equipment and facility maintenance at the camp in Logan Valley.

Also, Thadd’s Place in John Day has been awarded $8,500 to renovate their play therapy room to provide a safe space for children.

The grant awards are part of a $322,617 boost to communities throughout Eastern Oregon.
