La Grande’s March Community Blood Draw brings in over 240 units of blood

LA GRANDE – The march 2024 La Grande Community Blood Draw came and went, bringing in an impressive 243 units of blood. According to Linda and Sheldon Strand, La Grande’s community blood draw coordinators, this exceeded the march blood draw goal (222 units) by 21 units. With the national blood shortage still ongoing, every unit counts. As written by the Strands in the recent announcement:

“Once again, the La Grande community came forward to help alleviate the national blood shortage. We appreciate the community support.”
