LA GRANDE – The holidays are almost here, and the City of La Grande is once again continuing its tradition of making downtown shopping a little easier leading up to Christmas. Beginning this Friday, November 28th, the City of La Grande will temporarily suspend the downtown two-hour parking limit on Fridays through December 26. As written by the city in a recent announcement:
“This is a cooperative effort started over ten years ago at the request of the Union County Chamber of Commerce to give people a little extra time on Fridays to shop in downtown La Grande.”
Again, the suspension of the downtown two-hour parking limit is for Fridays only and is in effect November 28 through December 26, 2025.
