La Grande teen Drake Hill still reported missing, possibly gone out of state

LA GRANDE – UPDATE: 11:25 A.M. The LGPD has verified that Drake is not in Tennessee. Further, it is possible he is still local, but his whereabouts are unknown. Law enforcement is continuing to investigate.

UPDATE 11/10/25 9:40 A.M. — The La Grande Police Department has provided some additional information on the case of Drake Hill, a missing and endangered La Grande teen initially reported as a runaway on November 3.
According to the LGPD, Drake Hill’s situation was upgraded to a missing person case from the initial report based on the following criteria:
- Drake does not have any local friends.
- Drake does not have a cell phone or any means of communication with family.
- Drake does not have access to funds or resources to provide for his basic needs.
- The length of time he has been absent further increases the level of concern.
The LGPD is following all missing persons protocols, and the detective division is involved. Regarding his current whereabouts, law enforcement is working to determent whether Drake may be with biological family members in Oklahoma and are also following and working to verify a lead that suggests he may have been seen in Tennessee last week. At this time, the LGPD believe Drake Hill may have left La Grande and could be hitchhiking.
Information on Hill’s whereabouts can be passed on to Union County law enforcement at 1 541-963-1017.

UPDATE: 11/8/2025, 7:15 PM — The La Grande Police Department has confirmed that Drake Hill, a local teen initially reported as a runaway on November 3, is now listed as missing and endangered. No new additional details have been confirmed at this time. Any further updates on Hill’s status or possible whereabouts will be posted as soon as they are confirmed/released by law enforcement. The La Grande Police Department has confirmed that Drake Hill of La Grande was reported as a runway yesterday morning. Hill is under the age of 18 and described as being a white male, 5’7″ tall with dark brown hair. He was last seen wearing a grey Carhartt sweatshirt, either black or blue jeans and a small camo backpack. Hill may be in possession of a firearm for personal protection.
Hill reportedly frequents local places such as Walmart, Arby’s, McDonalds, and Panda Express. He does not have a cell phone at this time and there are no known friends’ houses he would be at.
According to the LGPD , there is no information that suggests he is a safety risk to himself or others at this time. Information on Hill’s whereabouts can be passed on to Union County law enforcement.
