La Grande Spring Community Tree Planting Scheduled for May 6

LA GRANDE – (Release from La Grande Parks and Recreation) Help Plant Trees!
The City of La Grande spring community tree planting day is Saturday, May 6th. Grow La Grande! Volunteers will meet at the Parks and Recreation shop at 2402 Cedar Street, at 9:00 to get organized, have doughnuts, then plant trees until noon. This is a fun, family friendly event where kids, and grownups too, can learn the best way to plant a tree and help us reach our goal of planting 100 trees each year.
