La Grande — (Release from the GRH Foundation)

The Grande Ronde Hospital Foundation (GRH Foundation) is thrilled to announce the

receipt of a generous $8,000 Naming Gift from the La Grande Soroptimists towards its transformative Healthier Together Campaign. This partnership signifies the commitment of both organizations to improve community health and well-being. The grant was announced at the GRH Foundation’s Healthier Together fundraising event on June 24th as part of the larger fundraising event. In all, the event raised more than $243,000.

A Naming Gift when part of a capital campaign, allows the donor to have a room or wing named in their honor. Usually attached to a significant gift, naming is an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy or to honor someone or an organization. If you or someone you know is interested in naming opportunities, please contact the Foundation office.

The La Grande Soroptimists, a distinguished women’s organization dedicated to empowering women and girls through education and support, recognizes the critical importance of investing in community health initiatives. With their generous $8,000 donation, the Grande Ronde Hospital Foundation will be able to advance the goals of the Healthier Together Campaign and make a lasting impact on the community.

The GRH Foundation’s Healthier Together Campaign is creating the next generation of health care in Northeast Oregon by expanding access to and enhancing services available through Grande Ronde Hospital and Clinics. The first phase is currently underway with construction of the new Campus Expansion Project, which will house a new surgical department and expand the number of operating rooms to five, as well as expanding other surgical services. Additionally, the new building will provide much-needed expansion space for other departments and health care services.

We are immensely grateful to the La Grande Soroptimists for their exceptional support through this naming gift” said Patrick Flynn, Foundation Manager at the Grande Ronde Hospital Foundation. “Their generosity will allow us to expand our reach and strengthen our efforts to promote wellness and unity within the community. Together, we will build a healthier future for all. We are Healthier Together!”

The Naming Gift from the La Grande Soroptimists will leave a lasting legacy, symbolizing their dedication to the Healthier Together Campaign and its mission. The Grande Ronde Hospital Foundation extends its heartfelt appreciation to the La Grande Soroptimists for their contribution and support.
