La Grande School District announces reversion to elementary school supply lists

LA GRANDE – The 2025-2026 school year is coming to an end, and no one wants to think about the start of school again already. That said, for families in the La Grande School District, an important change is coming that will affect how parents and guardians prepare their kids for school.
Due to continued issues with unpaid school supply fees creating financial issues for the district, the LGSD has announced that it will be reverting to more traditional elementary classroom supply lists for the 2026-27 school year. Families will need to follow the new lists and purchase supplies for their students in time for the coming school year. The district notes that most lists fall within the $35-40 dollar range.
