La Grande Police and Fire Unions Hosting Public Safety Forum

LA GRANDE – (Information provided by La Grande Professional Firefighters Local 924) The La Grande Fire and Police Unions will be hosting a public forum for city council candidates to speak about public safety.

All council candidates have been invited to the event and will be given equal time to speak. The event is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend. After all candidates have spoken, a Q&A session will be held where members of the public will be free to ask questions. The forum will be held at the La Grande Fire Department on Tuesday, October 18 at 6:30 p.m. Any questions about the event can be directed to the LGFD Firefighters Local 924 Union President, Dustin Alam.
