LA GRANDE – The Oregon Fallen Badge Foundation recently announced new leadership, including a local face. On Wednesday, May 6, the Foundation officially announced long-time La Grande Oregon State Police Trooper Charles Rohlf as its new vice president. Reflecting on his service history, the foundation would write:
“Charles is a senior trooper with the Oregon State Police stationed in La Grande, and he is a longtime member of OSP’s honor guard. He’s a highly tenured member of our line-of-duty death response team, and he’s also a highly-deployed responder to active-duty deaths in Oregon, responding seven times in 2025 alone.”
Alongside Rohlf, the Foundation also named Boardman Police Department Sergeant and Honor Guard Commander DaNeshia Barrett as its state president. Remarking on the new appointees, the Foundation would further write:
“With these two in their new positions, the future of the Oregon Fallen Badge Foundation is very bright, and we look forward to the places they take our foundation under their leadership. Congratulations, Dee and Charlie!”
