La Grande man arrested in Umatilla County after walking in and out of traffic on I-84

UMATILLA/UNION COUNTIES – Oregon State Police (OSP) in Umatilla County arrested 26-year-old Charles Michael Gohn of La Grande this week after receiving complaints of a man walking in and out of traffic eastbound near mile marker 218, two miles east of the Wildhorse Exit, along I-84. 

According to reports from OSP, Gohn was contacted and a subsequent check of his name and date of birth (DOB) revealed that he had eight warrants out for this arrest out of the Union County Sheriff’s Office.  

The warrants, according to OSP were for Disorderly Conduct II, multiple counts of Criminal Trespass II, Escape III, Theft III, and Failure to Appear (FTP) on a Criminal Citation. 

Gohn was taken into custody and transported to the Umatilla County Justice Center, where he was lodged on the warrants.
