PENDLETON – A report of a man obstructing traffic on Interstate 84 led to the arrest of a 32-year-old La Grande man in Pendleton on Thursday.
Oregon State Police received the report at 2:45 PM. When officers arrived the man was acting erratically and refused commands to stay out of the roadway, subsequently walking into the westbound lanes and causing multiple vehicles to slow or stop to avoid him. The man was searched for means of escape and three glass pipes were found that had residue that tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine.
Dustin Anthony Johnson was booked into Umatilla County Jail on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of methamphetamine.
