BAKER COUNTY –(Information provided by Oregon State Police) Scott Lee Young of La Grande was arrested by Oregon State Police in Baker County recently for DUII. Young was stopped for failing to maintain his lane of travel and showed signs of impairment. Young was arrested for DUII and transported to the Baker County Jail where he refused a breath test. A search warrant for a blood test was granted and obtained from Young. Over the Holidays, Oregon State Police along with other agencies around the state are partnering with the Oregon Department of Transportation reminding drivers to Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over. This is a campaign to get the message out that drunk driving is illegal and it takes lives,” said officers from the La Grande State Police.
