LA GRANDE — A blood drive held in La Grande this week was another huge success according to organizers. The two-day event, which was held at the Church of Latter-day Saints this week resulted in a total of 262 units of blood being collected.
According to coordinators Linda and Sheldon Strand, the goal for 2023 is to collect a total of 1200 units, which can be reached if they are able to collect another 202 units at the next blood draw, to be held November 14 and 15.
