La Grande announces tree lighting street closures

LA GRANDE – The City of La Grande loves its parades, and this holds true for the holiday season. On Saturday, December 2, portions of Adams Avenue in La Grande will be closed to accommodate the holiday parade and accompanying tree lighting. Specifically, Adams Avenue will be closed from 6 to 7 p.m. between the intersection at Hemlock Street and the intersection at 4^th street.

The parade will begin at 6 p.m. and proceed west down Adams from the Hemlock intersection to 4^th Street. Immediately following the parade, the Christmas tree lighting will kick off at Max Square.
