Kids’ Summer Lunch Program begins Tuesday in Grant County

JOHN DAY – The John Day Canyon City Parks and Recreation District’s summer lunch program for kids kicks off this week, according to Office Manager Ana DeVicentis:

“That is one program that I manage. We actually start tomorrow [June 20^th], and it’s going to be Monday through Friday…until August 11^th.

We’re actually serving Prairie City, Mt. Vernon, Canyon City, and John Day at the parks. It’s open to children ages 1 through 18.”
