Keep your heating appliances functioning property

BAKER CITY – Two structure fires in under a week in Baker City recently has created the need for members of the Baker City Fire and Rescue (BCFD) to issue a reminder to citizens about their heating appliances. These could be electrical, gas or even wood. Make sure that your heating appliances are functioning property and that chimneys, vents and pipes are all clear, cleaned and secured. BCFD says that the recent cold snap is putting extra strain on home heating units meaning maintenance and cleaning is extra important.
