The victim was known to Kang through social media.

DA Carpenter made the statement, “Thanks to the help of local business owners/employees, Sgt Tom Hutchison (OSP) and Sgt. Investigation into the matter continues. Following his arrest, Kang was arraigned on charges including Rape 1, Rape 3, Sodomy x 4, and Sex Abuse x 2.”
