JOHN DAY – Kam Wah Chung State Heritage Site in John Day holds the world’s largest collection of Chinese medical information from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. This includes formulas, documents, and other material.
Museum Curator Don Meritt said Kam Wah Chung, along with all the other museums within Grant County, will be open for spring break, March 25th through the 29th.
Meritt mentioned Kam Wah Chung visitors this year can expect something new:
“For the first time in a couple of years, we’ve actually changed out some exhibits. Local people who have been here before, they’re going to come in and actually see some new items on display. We have new information that we are going to be sharing that is on the tours as well.”
Kam Wah Chung State Heritage Site will be open between 9am and 4pm for spring break.
