Juvenile charged with Arson in Harney County

HARNEY COUNTY (Released from the Harney County Sheriff’s Office)-On January 2, 2026, at about 4:14am a residential structure fire located at 68717 Highway 205 was reported to the Harney County Dispatch Center. Local Fire Personal and Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the call.
After initial investigation a juvenile was arrested on multiple charged, including Arson. The juvenile was lodged at a juvenile detention facility in Central Oregon. This case remain open and under investigation. Reports have been submitted to the Harney County District Attorney’s Office for review and charging decisions. No further information can be released at this time.
