Junior Officer Day comes to Harney County

HARNEY COUNTY-The Burns Police Department, Hines Police Department, and the Harney County Sheriff’s Office invite local youth to join us for a hands-on, family-friendly public safely event.
Please join the departments for Junior Officers Day, where kids can learn about law enforcement, teamwork, and safety through interactive stations life fingerprinting, SWAT gear displays, and mock crime scene investigations.
This event will take place April 11, 2026, from 9:00am-12:00am for the first session or 1:00pm-3:00pm for the second session at Harney County Chamber of Commerce. To register please call the Burns Police Department at 573.6781.
