Josephy center welcomes community to new Wallowa Mud Works Ceramics Studio

JOSEPH – (Press release from the Josephy Center for Arts & Culture) The Josephy Center for Arts & Culture is thrilled to welcome the community to Wallowa Mud Works, its expanded ceramics studio in Joseph, Oregon!

With a 1,600-square-foot expansion, the new studio offers more room for creativity, learning, and connection. The studio also features seven brand-new pottery wheels and skilled ceramics instructors ready to help community members of all experience levels get their hands in clay and start throwing bowls! Whether you’re an experienced potter, a budding youth artist, or someone who has never touched clay, there’s a place for you at Wallowa Mud Works.

At the heart of the new studio is a flexible membership program. Members enjoy studio access, dedicated storage for their work, shared tools and equipment, discounts on classes and merchandise, and opportunities to connect with other local makers. Memberships start at $40 per month, with annual options available.

The Josephy Center sees Wallowa Mud Works as more than a ceramics studio – it’s a place to learn, experiment, build friendships, and strengthen the creative community of Wallowa County.

Come see the new space, explore membership options, take a class, and discover what you can make! While you’re here, take time to explore the Josephy Center’s rotating art exhibits and browse the library, too – there’s always something to discover!
