Joseph, Enterprise, ODF crews contain early morning haystack fire on Tenderfoot Valley Road

JOSEPH — The Joseph Fire Department contained an early morning haystack fire Thursday on Tenderfoot Valley Road, though the stack was a total loss.

Officials initially responded to a report of a possible fire near Tucker Down Road before locating the blaze on Tenderfoot Valley Road.

Crews from the Joseph Fire Department, Enterprise Fire Department, and the Oregon Department of Forestry worked together to prevent the fire from spreading beyond the haystack.

No other property damage was reported.
