COLLEGE PLACE – The city of College Place has announced that its planning commission will participate in a joint meeting to hear a presentation on the draft Regional Housing Action Plan. Commissions from Dayton, Waitsburg, and Walla Walla will also be attending the Zoom meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 7.
A team of consultants has been working on the plan with the four cities. The meeting will be held via Zoom and the meeting ID is 820 0515 2347#.
After the joint meeting, each planning commission will host a public hearing on the plan for each city’s citizens. Those meetings will be made public separately. During the hearings, the public will have the opportunity to provide input and comments on the plan.
After that is done, each commission will make a recommendation to its city council. Final action on the plan will be completed at that level. A copy of the plan is available at: https://www.wallawallawa.gov/government/development-services/public-notice
